Windows Scanner

I ran the Windows scanner and while running it had 15 infected files found. When it finished the report showed none found. What happened.

    Your antivirus scanner might have successfully removed or quarantined the malware during the scan, or it could have been a false positive. You can double-check the result by going to Windows Security. Select Virus & Threat Protection, then select Protection History under Current Threats. If you are still concerned about the virus, I suggest getting a second opinion using Microsoft Safety Scanner.
