Video scheduler internal error BSOD from module dxgmms2

I've had this laptop for a few weeks now and it now has been giving a BSOD about once a day. I have looked around and tried various things, from using DDU to uninstall the display drivers and reinstalling the latest from Nvidia's website all the way to factory resetting the laptop. I have opened and looked at every minidump file created and it always says it's from the module dxgmms2.sys and is given the bug check code 119. I don't know what else to try that might fix it. Could this be a hardware-level issue that I just have to deal with? I can also tell when the BSOD is about to happen as my fps drops all the way down to about 5 for a solid minute with artifacts appearing all around the screen.

The dmp file indicate errors related to the graphics drivers. Try to clean both integrated and dedicated graphics drivers using DDU in Safe mode. Try the older version of the graphics drivers

Reinstall the chipset drivers. Download the latest chipset drivers from the Laptop Manufacturer's support website.

There are also errors related to third-party antivirus McAfee software. Fully clean and uninstall the third-party antivirus software using the MCPR tool from their support website. Observe if the system stabilizes.

It is also possible that the laptop is overheating. Try using a laptop cooling pad or a stand. Clean the laptop's air vents.

However, if the given suggestion doesn't work. Most likely this is related to a hardware problem. Graphics artifacts are also a sign of a faulty GPU. Try contacting the Manufacturer or a professional computer repair service to address the issue as it may be related to a hardware issue.

I did as you said about McAfee, I uninstalled it originally but it seemed to have reinstalled itself so I used the MCPR tool and it still didn't work. Turns out I had to delete a partition of my drive that for some reason was reinstalling it. And that seemed to have solved the issue entirely including the artifacting that I was getting. Thank you so much for your help in pinpointing what was causing that issue!

Hi, I'm Jan and I'm happy to help you today. I'm sorry you're having this problem. The minidump file link is set as restricted. Please update the restriction settings and share the link again. Thank you.
