My Windows 10 is struggling with life now.

The taskbar keep crashing, Windows explorer is also not properly opening.

I tried sfc /scannow & dism restore commands. Both completed successfully but couldn't bring the taskbar back to life.

The PC is facing the same issue in safe mode too.

[P.S. : I have Windows 11 installed in another hard disk. I keep altering between these two drives (one at a time). The Windows 11 HDD has similar problems, so I tried everything that finally reset the PC by downloading the Windows files from online (by using the recovery options).

It still didn't help.

Now I'm facing the same issue with my Win. 10 PC drive too]

If the issue persists, please try performing an In-place Upgrade. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

Few things to check on the PC

**Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting

**Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade

Download the media creation tool(Click Download tool now) and save it to your computer.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Open the tool and select Upgrade this PC now.

Make sure to select Keep personal files and apps.

It might take some time to install Windows 10. Your computer will restart a few times, make sure you don’t turn off your PC

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns by clicking the "Reply" button at the end of my response. I will appreciate it.

Installing a fresh copy of Windows is the last option that I can do with my windows 11 device on which I have already performed a reset.

But do you have any suggestions on what I can do with my Windows 10 device, which has not been fixed even after trying those commands [in this device the taskbar is crashing every second, Windows Explorer is restarting every second, can't connect to Ethernet, 've already tried DISM command and sfc scannow command

The Windows 10 PC keeps crashing even in safe mode!]?

    Type: notepad.exe

    Press Enter

    Click File, then Open
