    Dear Nikola Kielbasa!

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

Hi! It sounds like you're having issues with your primary monitor not displaying properly. Let me help you check.

Based on your description, you have the following:

    1. You have two monitors and one is broken and unplugged.
    2. When you plug the HDMI into the primary monitor, no signal is displayed.
    3. If you plug the monitor and TV into both, the screen displays.

Here are a few possible solutions:

    1. Check the HDMI connection: Make sure the HDMI cable is firmly connected to the monitor and the computer. Sometimes a loose connection can cause problems.
    2. Display settings: Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." Make sure your primary monitor is set as the primary display. You may need to manually detect the monitor.
    3. Update the driver: Make sure your graphics card driver is up to date. You can update it through the device manager or by visiting the graphics card manufacturer's website.
    4. Try a different port: If your computer has multiple HDMI ports, try plugging the monitor into another port. If there's a DP port, please try it.
    5. Monitor input source: Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input source (HDMI). You can usually change this through the monitor's on-screen menu.
    6. Test other devices: If possible, test the monitor with another device (like a laptop) to see if that works properly. This can help determine if the problem is with the monitor or the computer.

If none of these steps fix the issue, let me know with more details and we can try more advanced troubleshooting!

Thank you for your understanding and support!

    Sincerely,

Yang.Z - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
