Microsoft account locked

I have a computer that is locked out by Bitlocker. I went to my other computer to get a recovery code. When I tried to open my Microsoft account, it asked for a phone number I no longer have. I added my new number and the account is locked for security reasons. It says for 30 days. How can I unlock my account? I hope there is an answer as I need the other computer.

    Hey Darell!

Nice to meet you! I'm Darhyl, an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Microsoft account security information change.

Just a gentle reminder that we are only Microsoft users here in the community. We are not Microsoft employees and we do not have tools to access any Microsoft System.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to bypass the 30-day security lockdown to add your new security information (phone number) to your Microsoft account.

If you have access to your old/current security information in your account, you can cancel the security information change request according to the official Microsoft website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

"you can go ahead and cancel the request from the Security info change is still pending window.

Sign in to the account.microsoft.com > Security page for your Microsoft account.

On the Your security info change is still pending window, select the link, cancel this request and follow the prompts. You'll need access to these security proofs to complete the cancel request."

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best Regards,

    Darhyl
