Thank you, Will try and post here for any issues.
Need help with PC reset options
My HP pavilion x360 got upgraded to windows 11 home from windows 10 1 or 2 years ago.
It worked fine until i started getting "File system error -1073741792" from when I am not able to run anything as administrator like installing new apps and opening task manager and other applications. I am suspecting this may be due to enabling hyper-v for running VMs on virtual box.
An year ago I was suggested to go for PC reset in the community . I waited till now as i was doing a course and doesn't want to disturb the current running applications.
Now I wanted to know below things.
Can I reinstall the windows 11 home again or do I have to switch back to windows 10.
Will hyper-V cause any issues on windows 11 again.
Thanks,

Thanks for the clarification.
Using one of the reinstallation methods from the article below will resolve the issue you mentioned. If one method doesn't help, you can try the other.

The best way to backup your settings is to use the method explained in the article below.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/bac...
You can back up files and folders using this method as well. But if you prefer, you don't need to back up files and folders this way, only the settings.
To backup folders and files to an external hard drive, you can follow the instructions shown in the article below under "Back up to an external drive".

2024-09-26T07:43:07+00:00 Sorry , It's not Hyper-V. I just enabled virtualization technology in BIOS set-up.
Also Please provide me any reference which helps me with windows 11 reinstall by taking entire back up (both files and PC settings) to external hard drive.
Attached is the windwos update status of my PC and the error I am getting when I am trying to do anything as administrator.

You don't need to switch back to Windows 10. You can reinstall Windows 11 Home again.
Now, regarding Hyper-V, you mentioned being on Windows 11 Home. The Hyper-V can't be installed on Windows 11 Home.

How did you install Hyper-V on your Windows 11 Home?
Did you use third-party software or a method taught in a tutorial? If yes, which one?
