Program Window Flickering and Artifacting

Hey,

I recently started having issues with a few programs, not all but a few, where the screens or contents in the program windows would start flickering. Basically, it happens whenever and can get really bad, in some cases making the program completely useless.

I've attached a YouTube link below for an example of the issue. You can't really see it in effect as much, but look closely to the playback progress bar. It does that like so and on a larger scale.

Hi, thank you for patiently waiting, as per checking and analyzing the event logs, there are multiple Disk (NTFS) errors, this error occurs when there is an issue with the file system or there is a hardware-related problem that on your hard drive, for us to sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

Method 1. Run full check disk.

Open Powershell with Admin or CMD with Admin (Press Windows key + X then click Windows Powershell(Admin))

Copy, paste, and enter the command below:

    chkdsk c: /f

Follow the prompt and restart the PC if needed.

    Method 2. Do clean boot:

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

If none will work from the above solution, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link:

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues in particular to your hard drive.

Hi, thank you for patiently waiting, as per checking and analyzing the event logs, there are multiple Bugchecks on the PC, which means a system failure or a Bluescreen is happening to the background, in this case, can you please check if you have minidump files on the PC so that we can further examine what is the root cause of the issue?

Press Windows key + E (To open File Explorer)

Click "This PC" > then follow the file path:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the Minidump files and save them to another location like Desktop or Documents.

Then please upload it to Cloud storage like OneDrive or any cloud storage you are using and please share the shareable link here.

To upload and share the link using One Drive:

Go to this link: https://onedrive.live.com/ then upload the file.

Then provide the shareable link by following the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/shar...

    Hey Lester,

The issue was non-existent a few weeks ago, but for some reason it suddenly started happening. Hardware is not the problem, unsure about software. Maybe it is driver issues related with my GPU, maybe a config setting like hardware acceleration, I am not sure.

    Here are my system logs.
