no bootable device

I followed advice from another post to factory reset my surface go 2 without a recovery key as well as the login password. However, that method failed miserably and now instead of a normal device I am left with a device that shows the page "no bootable device" no matter what I do. This was the instructions I followed, do note that my device was working perfectly fine before this and I just lost my password and would like to do a factory reset.

you would need to download the media creation tool, run this & choose to create media, then use the created USB thumb drive on the problem PC & start the PC & as soon as you see the manufacturer’s logo rapidly click the key corresponding with the temporary boot menu - this can be F7, F12, F8. If you can’t find this or it doesn’t work then enter the BIOS & change the boot order so that USB is at the top. Save the settings & reboot the PC.
Once in the installation you choose to delete all partitions & allow the media to create the ones it needs & install Windows.

this was the link she provided me: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10

I followed her steps exactly and when the F7, F12, F8 keys didn't work, I changed the boot order like she said. That worked and I was prompted to redownload windows. However, I was not able to download the system into any of the drives provided and when I tried to go back it showed "no bootable device".

I already changed the BIOS boot order back to it's original order but that did nothing. I do not know what to do next please help.
