Latest windows update problem

I am facing an issue after the latest windows update on my laptop. I have already tried uninstalling latest functions update but I have been unsuccessful. My laptop says it is unable to uninstall it and that I should try to reset it (troubleshooting > reset computer) but I am not able to because I can't select which Windows system update I want to reset.

Stop code: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

An immediate answer would be realy helpful and appreciated due to an urgent matter.

Kind regards!

This simply indicates that your recovery partition may be corrupted, you may need to consider performing a Clean Install of Windows 11.

Find another working computer then download the Media Creation tool (Click Download tool now). Use the tool to "Create installation media (USB flash drive at least 8GB in size) to install Windows 11". Instructions inside the link.

Note: Please make sure to uncheck the "Use the recommended options for this PC" box.

If you want to retrieve your important files, Insert the USB Installation media into your computer. Please change the boot order in the Bios Settings. Boot your PC from the Installation Media you created.

Click Repair your computer > Troubleshoot > Command prompt

    Type: notepad.exe

    Press Enter

    Click File, then Open

This will open a Mini-Explorer that you can use to find folders or individual files that need to backup, right click the files to Send to USB flash drive.

Kindly refer to the link below on How to perform a Clean Installation of Windows 11

After I select troubleshoot I get six options to choose from and reset this PC is not one of them.

I have looked up the link you attached and after I click on troubleshoot, I do not have an option to reset PC but I have following six options startup repair, command prompt, uninstall updates, UEFI firmware settings, system restore and system image recovery.

Both system restore and system image recovery do not work.

If System Restore does not work, you may need to consider doing a Reset this PC with Keep my files option

Go back to the Windows the Recovery Environment

Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC > Keep my files

JohnDeV thank you for your answer.

After I go to troubleshoot I get six options to choose from. One of the available options is "restore system". After selecting it and trying to run it, returns a notification to select which Windows system update I want to restore. But I can not find options to select it.

    Kind regards
