Pre-registering Autopilot

I bought a Surface Pro 10 from the official website and requested it to be registered for Autopilot. The sales mentioned to me that he can only run the registration AFTER I obtained the laptop and provide him the serial number. (Which is not the case as one of my colleague received hers with Autopilot installed.)

Anyway, I listened to him and now that I have received the laptop and provided him the seriel number, he will not reply to me and I cannot find a human from Microsoft to resolve this issue for me. How do I proceed from here please....

Hi HLam36. My name is Ivan, and I am an Independent Assessor.

Contact the sales manager: If you have the contact information for the sales manager where you purchased the computer, you can escalate the issue to him/her. He/she may be able to intervene and resolve the problem. If necessary, go in person (if applicable) and find the sales advisor to answer for what was promised.

It would be best if you continued to insist on contacting Microsoft support, from here unfortunately we will not be able to help you resolve the problem. Sorry
