Hi
I have created an Excel workbook using the Desktop and have placed data into the Data Model using Power Pivot.
I created one pivot table also in the Desktop
I've uploaded it to a Teams Site that I manage to share with other Site members
I then open the workbook from withing Teams, online.
The pivot table is still accessible, but I cannot find a way to create new pivot tables using the data model.
I have tried to do this from the 'Insert' Tab and have selected 'Pivot Table'; however unlike the Desktop version, there is no option to use the data model.

Cheers
A

    Hi @Alan Freeman ,
Based on your description, you're using Excel web app but not Excel services, you can refer to this support article, as the article said View and interact with a workbook that contains a Data Model is not supported in Excel Web App:

    Thanks emizhang-msft

Could I follow up on this to find out if my Teams site members will be able to access Excel Services? They are guests, and are hence not part of my organization (the University of Manitoba).

Myself, I am able to visit a Sharepoint site that seems to lie behind the Teams channel. I have not tried this yet for the spreadsheet in question but I will try to do so. However it would be useful to know if my guests are authorized to do the same

    Regards
    Alan
