Using New Office 365 to open Excel or Word, I get an error message; Do you trust this file? Also, it opens a blank file with error messages about opening duplicate files. When I use the desktop app, there is no problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office 365, but the problem remains.

Thank you for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm happy to assist you.

If you've reinstalled Office 365 and still face issues with files opening as blank or with error messages, try moving the files to a trusted location on your computer to prevent security checks. Additionally, ensure your Office and Windows are fully updated, and check for any conflicting add-ins or multiple Office versions installed.
