That is great news, I am glad this is resolved, well done.
Windows license issues
I just purchased a new license via the MS store for windows 11 but was not provided a key. This was done because my I originally purchased from an online vendor whom I had used previously and they also provided me my Office 2012 Pro license, which MS says is fine. Anyway, they sold me a counterfeit Windows 11 license per MS.
So now the question is how do I reactivate my machine without a key? MS didn't provide one from the MS store purchase, but they did charge my CC...
Any help would be appreciated. I have spent 6+ hours on hold over 3 calls. got no where...

2024-08-27T09:03:01+00:00 Hi Dave,
Thanks for responding but no need at this point, weirdly enough it finally activated out of the blue after about 7 hours.
Just FYI I don't use a MS account to login. It is configured with a local account.
Support finally called me back late yesterday evening and I informed them that it was still showing the "counterfeit" key when I run the "slmg /dlv" script but they said at this point it is not an issue as the new digital license has taken effect.
I got to say though, the whole M$ support thing is a joke though.
Have a good day!

1
Ensure you log into Windows with the exact same Microsoft account you used to purchase the Windows licence with.
2
Open the Settings app, then go to System - About, is the currently installed version (Home or Pro) of Windows the exact same as the licence you have purchased from Microsoft?
