Hello! AS the title suggests, I'm looking to see if ANY models of the Microsoft pens Will work on the Lenovo 2-in-1 devices (As Far as I'm aware, they utilize both MPP & WACOM AES 2.0-3.0 protocol for their digitizer hardware & drivers.)

Does anyone know, by chance? These WACOM Bamboo ink pens leave much to be desired . . . and Lenovo's pens... nearly unusable, given how thin, round, and Smooth they are... they Slide up your hand between each 2-4 Words of using the handwriting panel ... the Microsoft pens, I've had the Chance to test run on a Surface tab, and they feel good. but most of all , perform very consistently...

The original Lenovo Digital Pen 2 for your laptop is compatible with MPP 2.0 which is the protocol used by the 'Surface Pen with no clip', so that pen would be compatible with your Lenovo laptop.

I'm sorry, i completely neglected to check back with this thread...

What is that pen's model number?

I do not want to use the Lenovo pens, as they're quite small, in my large hands, and my hands are also callused from my job as a mechanic and from being a musician for years. It just slides further and further up my hand while I'm using it, causing me to hit barrel buttons, and squeeze my hand in much too far for it to be comfortable during use. I recently picked up a Wacom Bamboo Smart Stylus, which, while my device runs on Wacom AES & on MPP making it compatible with that pen, there are some undesirable quirks about the pen that make it difficult to use, such as when drawing a line in a diagonal direction, without moving the tip or shaking, the line is drawn with a wavy-like appearance which is frustrating when trying to sign my name on documents or webpages. I've heard much good about the surface pen performance with MPP devices.

I recently came into possession of a "Microsoft pen with single button on the side" I think is what they call it? It has that long grey strip running down one side, and it has a top-button. However, when trying to use it with my lenovo, it did not work, even though from what I read it uses MPP protocol. So I have a pen that's basically a paper weight... lol

anyhow.. If you know what the model number is, so that I can accurately obtain the correct pen, I'd be very appreciative to also have that knowledge.
