I opened my laptop today and I can't connect to wi-fi. It is not showing any available networks. I have used my hotspot on computer for years and now troubleshoot is telling me use an ethernet cable that I prefer not to use. This has never happened to me, I tried everything to fix it but its all useless.

I use windows 10. I want a solution.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    It is necessary to investigate to understand why this happened.

    Please do the following:

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Device Manager";
    2. Click on the "View" menu and select "Show hidden devices";
    3. Expand "Network adapters";
    4. If the Wi-Fi adapter is listed, right-click and select "Properties". Check if there is an error in "Device Status". If you see an error under Device Status, please share a screenshot.

    If you can't identify your PC's Wi-Fi adapter, share a screenshot of the network adapters.

    Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool. Or take a picture of the screen using a smartphone and share it.

    Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool. Or take a picture of the screen using a smartphone and share it.

    I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.
