Hi John Budris,
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Based on the original description, the device seems to be experiencing issues related to the bluetooth module.
This could be related to different factors including, but not limited to, driver failures, component conflicts, corrupted account profile, corrupted system components, and physical failures.
If possible, would you mind sharing more information about this issue with us?
- Does this only appear on certain Bluetooth devices? Or does it apply to all Bluetooth devices?
- Were there any special events in the device before the situation first occurred? For example, system update, driver update, application update, BIOS update, firmware update?
If you need to narrow down the scope of analysis at the software level, you may need to perform actions at both the system level and the driver level.
For example, at the system level, use a system restore or uninstall updates.
At the driver level, you can perform a clean install of the driver and then test a different version (such as a previous version) of the driver.

For older versions of the driver, you can visit the device manufacturer's product support site. | Disclaimer: Microsoft provides no assurances and/or warranties, implied or otherwise, and is not responsible for the information you receive from the third-party linked sites or any support related to technology. | | --- | After the driver "package" is removed from the device, the driver cannot be installed by scanning for hardware changes. Please be careful to back up the driver installation files in advance. | Disclaimer: Please back up all your important data before performing it. | | --- |
If I misunderstand your situation, feel free to correct me and share the information.
