Hi,

I have an issue with one client where i can't install any applications through software center. It gives me an error "You do not have permission to install software". All the deployment settings and user exp. set perfect and i don't see any issues with other machines. Boundary and BG looks good as well. All the applications are showing the same error. I tried clean reinstalling the agent and repaired WMI nothing helps. The machine is also Hybrid AD joined. Kindly advise.

Delete folder containing service IP from this reg path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Enrollments\

( Do Backup on above reg folder First before Deleting)

Run command: WMIC /Namespace:\root\ccm path SMS_Client CALL ResetPolicy 1 /NOINTERACTIVE

Restart give some time for service to run and try install.

Hi @Vijayaguru M ,

Please check if we had multiple users logged onto the system simultaneously, and our current session was not the first or primary user. Ensure there's only the one user logged in to the machine and see if the issue persists.

Besides, kindly check if install permissions is set as All users, refer to the following screenshot:

Hi,

Install Permission is set to "All Users". I found that the machine is enrolled with InTune and applied InTune policies which caused the apps are not allowed to install. I removed the enrollment on that problematic and then reinstalled SCCM client which resolved my issue.

Never seen that error message in SC. Did you set the install behavior to "Install for System"?

Yes. The install behavior is set to Install for system.

Do you have multiple users logged in? Check with the primary session id.
