How to set Default app for web browser to none or 'choose a default'

I have Windows 10 20H2 machines that have no web browser. I want to change the default apps for web browser to none or to 'choose a default'. This will fix the error message generated on these machines 'unable to start dcom server microsoftedge error 2147942402'. Is there a way to edit the registry and change the default web browser to none?

    Hello @Stan Kasper

Here's the registry value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Associations\UrlAssociations\http\UserChoice mentioned in How to find the default browser via the registry on Windows 10 and Identification of default browser in registry? , but it seems no option for None.

I appreciate your response. I have seen this before. This is unusable. The registry entries are just an obfuscation for security purposes to ensure no malicious software changes the default web browser.

At this point I am going to be patience and wait and see if Microsoft address this issue.

    Thank you.
