ethernet wont detect

Question

I've tried things like connecting both ends of the ethernet to the modem, and the ethernet cable light flashed, but when i try to plug it in my computer it doesn't flash or work.

Im on windows 11

My modem works but the ethernet just wont detect.

I've tried different ethernet cables.

Hi ,

Unfortunately, it is very complicated to change the motherboard connector and it can cause more damage. In this case, the best way would be to recommend buying a PCI or USB 100/1000 Ethernet card from a store or online.

Get a USB one if you don't have any experience with hardware.
