I have enabled the Feature "Task Sequence as an app model deployment type install method" under features but I still do not see the option to choose task sequence as a deployment type. What am I missing?

Sorry, I missed the pre-release feature being enabled in the screenshots as it flowed into the screenshot above it.

After enabling the pre-release feature, did you close and re-open the console?

Is the console also updated to 2010?

    Hi @Debi Lewis ,

I test it in my environment, please follow the steps, and we will find the option to choose task sequence as a deployment type.

It's a new deployment type on the application. For details, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/apps/deploy-use/create-applications#bkmk_dt-ts

Thank you both - that is definitely where it is supposed to be however it is not there.

Then you are either not running 2002+ or you have not enabled it as a pre-release feature. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/servers/manage/pre-release-features#enable-pre-release-features for details on enabling pre-release features.
