I cannit open window security.

Hey umm so i diwnload a game from a pirated website I know thats wring and im really regret it.So when installing the games it say to disable window defender so i did that. Now regretting what i did i want to turn it back on bcs yknow i want my laptop to be save but it says it cannot start. When i try opening the window security it cant open and it just a blank page. please help me!!

    How to uninstall? I mean its in a form of zip file now. Do i just delete it and it go to recycke bin? Will it clears ny storage?

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Pirated gamers are usually wrapped in malware and that is why you were asked to disable Defender, so the malware could be installed.

    Download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and run a full scan with that:

    When that completes, donwload the free version of Malwarebytes and run a full scan with that.

    Do either of those scans find malware on your PC?

    Then restart your PC and uninstall Malwarebytes and check if Defender is then working correctly.

    Uninstall whatever you downloaded then run the sfc/dism to see if it can repair your system

    I hpe you have an AV/Security from a branded/known maker and dont simply rely on Defender
