Fps drops while moving mouse

Hello after factory resetting my pc i get fps drops while moving my mouse. I searched all over google to find fix for my problem. I've found plenty of sites or other people experience and what they've done they said lowering mouse pulling rate might fix it. But before factory resetting my pc i could play every game at 4000hz mouse pulling rate and now i can barely play at 1000hz pulling rate. So lowering my pulling rate isn't going to solve my problem. I think there is some kind of setting in pc that makes those fps drops while moving mouse. I have really powerful pc with rtx 3090, i7-13700f, 32gb ram ddr5 6000mhz speed. I've done some fixes none of them worked. My pc before could handle even 8000hz pulling rate now it can barely handle 1000hz so maybe anyone knows how to fix it.

    Hi Flinstonas Flinstonas,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Based on the original description, the device seems to be experiencing issues related to the abnormal mouse response.

Generally, the responsiveness and feedback of a mouse is controlled primarily by the driver or a specific application.

The system's built-in option that can affect mouse speed is usually cursor speed/pointer speed.

The process of factory resetting usually resets/cleans a lot of data, which may include non-preinstalled drivers, applications.

We noticed that you posted a thread with a similar question, and the content of that thread mentioned the model number of the mouse “Logitech G Pro Superlight 2”.

Is it the same device as the one you have in this thread?

If possible, you can start by installing a specific version of the drivers, firmware, and software provided by the manufacturer of your device (for example, the version that was used when you first started using the device) for your device.

This includes, but is not limited to, the mouse itself, the processor, and the graphics card.

Sometime, overlays from applications like Steam, Discord, or OBS can sometimes interfere with game performance.

You can try disabling them and see if it helps.

Another possibility to consider is that “sync” technology may cause abnormal mouse behavior or screen behavior. Strange delays may occur when the "refresh rate", "response speed" or similar options of multiple different components do not match or conflict with each other.

The NVIDIA graphics card itself provides “sync” related technology, and some monitors' own On-Screen Display or applications may have options to control “synchronization”, “refresh rate” related or similar.

If I misunderstand your situation, feel free to correct me and share the information.

    Best Regards,
