Software problems
I can’t open any program on Windows including the settings. the only thing I can access is the start menu and the run command using win+r, the only way I can turn off the pc is to physically unplug it from my wall And I’ve tried ctrl+alt+del and that doesn’t work either

2024-08-24T00:41:50+00:00 After I typed in “taskmgr” the run window disappeared and nothing else popped up.
Also no I am not using a dual and no there weren’t any changes other than a download I made a few days back, it was about 130gb.

2024-08-24T00:03:49+00:00 Hi EJ,
My name is Estrella, and I'm an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry to hear that you're having this trouble. I'll be more than happy to help.
Were there any changes to your computer system before this issue? Are you using a dual monitor?
Meanwhile, please check if you can access the Task Manager:
- Press Windows + R, type "taskmgr", and then hit Enter.
- Choose the Processes tab.
- Scroll down and find Windows Explorer
- Right-click on it then select Restart.
- Check if this fixes the issue.
If the issue continues, please try creating a local administrator account to see if this issue is due to a corrupted user account.
