Power Icon not function

Hi greetings!

Currently encountering that my laptop cannot power off and sleep by clicking the power icon. The power icon also didn’t show any options when clicked on it.

My laptop is Asus Vivobook, I have tried to run troubleshot but there is no power option in my troubleshot system. Can someone help please?

Thank you for the screenshot,

Open the Registry Editor again, it will still be in the same location.

Right click and delete the two blue entries (NoClose and NoLogOff)

Then close the registry editor and force your PC to shut down, then when you restart your PC, the power options should re-appear on the Start Menu.

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

    Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

    Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

    Please provide a screenshot of that Registry Editor page.
