What a nuisance that with Windows 11 we have to go through all this inconvenience. Precisely why I kept my Windows 10 for as long as I could.
Now I have so many issues that used to be simple and I now need to adjust with Windows 11.

I just bought a new windows 11 pc and it doesn't matter what browser I'm using I can only save images as webp. This is making things very difficult for productivity and business need.

2024-08-19T01:25:14+00:00 I have changed the default apps settings for .JPG and webp to photos app in settings and this worked for edge browser but other browsers seem to save images as webp. I love and prefer to use the brave browser but maybe I need to search more for answers or just use edge from now on.

My apologies about that. Have you tried the steps below?
Right-click and save the image as WebP.
Open the saved WebP file in Microsoft Paint.
Choose "Save As" and select JPEG.
Alternatively, install a browser extension like "Save Image As Type" for direct JPEG saving, or use an online converter to change WebP to JPEG after saving.
