Windows 11 File Explorer META Data

I have opened the Details Pane to look at the META data. I need to use AUTHOR and COMMENT but after saving a file as a .jpg these two META data items are not present.

Can anyone tell me how to add these two items to all new files saved.

Thanks

Mike

    Dear AndrewForryan,

Hello! Welcome to the Microsoft Community. I'm glad to be able to assist you. If I misunderstand your question, please let me know promptly.

First of all, I'm sorry for the late reply.

We learned that after the file is saved as jpg format, there is no problem of author and comment attributes. Have you seen other types of files? Do they have author and comment attributes?

I agree with LesFerch. I try to save many types of files as. jpg files, which have author and comment attributes. How do you save the file as. jpg and what software do you use? Regarding your question, if it is convenient, you can send pictures or detailed descriptions to help us better understand your question, and you can also tell us what you want to do.

Incidentally, the attributes between files are not exactly the same. For example, ".txt file" and ".bmp" have no attributes such as author and comments.

I hope the above information can be of help to you. If you have any progress or questions, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Wishes

That's odd. The Authors and Comments properties should be present for all JPG files. How did you save the jpg file? Please post a screenshot of the details dialog for one of those files.
