A user reported this error when trying to add a group Calendar in a SharePoint Online Modern Page
Steps:
1- From any page on the site, Edit.
2- Hit Plus sign in between section to add a web part.
3- Select "Group Calendar"
4- Error!
Error Message:
Something went wrong
If the problem persists, contact the site administrator and give them the information in Technical Details.

We are experiencing the exact same error message in the same context as well. Any update on the issue?
I was able to fix the same error by adjusting the site collection time zone to match the time zone of the group calendar.
Awesome. That fixed it.
Although I could not match it to the time zone of a calendar, as I was getting the error before I could add a group calendar, I checked the site collection time zone which was wrong and changed it to be local time zone and was then able to add a group calendar without error.

Have you added some custom codes on the page?
Whether some users or all users who add the group calendar web part on this site collection page will report an error?
If some users occur error, please remove these users then re-add them into site collection.

Not aware of custom codes being added to the page. Did think about it, which is why I tried a new page with no code added.
The user and myself (myself having toplevel admin rights), both tried this and it fails for both of us on this site.) But we are both able to add Group Calendar Webpart on other sites.
After posting the message above, I clicked on the links in the error (e.g. https://spoprod-a.akamaihd.net/files/sp-client/sp-groupcalendar-webpart_en-us_801607585d6000d87d72.js:1:72238)
And noted the page that looks like xml that opens is stating The specified blob does not exist
So wondering if something might have inadvertently been removed from the site. or whether if linked externally, perhaps firewall or something is blocking access to area it is pointing at. Not sure how I can change or check what it is pointing at.
As per point 3 in "What I Tried" creating an entire new page to avoid any custom codes also failed.
So probably not any custom code.
We have now scrapped the idea of using group calendar and instead used a task list to display upcoming events and booking sessions.
I have tried doing the same on a separate new site collection and that seems to work and allows me to select a group Calendar.
