Check with Device Manager, audio driver is properly installed. If yes, try updating it, see if it helps.
Default speakers not working
Worked fine yesterday, came in today and no speakers. Defaults do not show up on list of available speakers. Cold boot twice and no change. Plugged in headphones and they do not load either.

I understand you're experiencing audio issues, and I'm here to help. When did the issue first start? Were there any recent Windows updates, software installations, or changes to your system or hardware?
Other than restarting, what troubleshooting steps have you already taken? This information will help me avoid recommending them again.
Could you please capture a screenshot of the Realtek(R) Audio driver properties? Also, could you expand "Audio inputs and outputs" and capture a screenshot of the listed drivers?
Also, please provide a screenshot of your System Information page:
> Press Windows + R key to open Run dialog.
> Type this and press Enter: msinfo32
> Capture a screenshot of the System Information window and attach it in your next response.
Click "Reply" below and attach those screenshots in your next response along with the answers to my questions. Thank you!
John J.D.
