I accidentally Locked a Windows 10 device with my Microsoft Account, and I'm not getting an option to unlock it. Is resetting the MS Account password the only way to get it unlocked ?

None of the other threads on this subject have been any use.

    Very mixed up topic this. Most of the information about it doesn't work, or the information is incorrect, etc.

    Anyway, you can see below that I have resolved the issue, thanks anyway.

    Well, as no replys were forthconing, I bit the bullet and did a "System Restore" from the repair options on a bootable USB Windows 10 Installer.

    The system restore has taken me back to 28/07/2024, which is good enough for my purposes.

    This might help other people in the same boat....

    Usually when you lock a computer the account will have the unlock option.

    If you don't see that when you access the account from another device you will have to ask Microsoft support directly.
