hi all,

i bought a pre-used pc and installed windows on it.

during installation i was asked for my windows account data to login with these.

after the installation the system showedd my that i have a digital windows 10 home license.

i bought a windows pro license key andd enterd this key, under activation / product key.

after this the sytem told me that it will upgradd features now.

reboot...

and finally the information that my windows could not be activated cause it found a home license in my pro version !?

so i started the troubleshooting program which toldd me that that the problem shouldd be: that a digital windows home license is connected to my account..
all my bought and running windows version which iám using with this account are PRO ...

any advice ?

The key was bought at a 3rd party retailer.

it actually Without trying to register my pro serial again) shows that its WIN10 home , activated through a digital , with my login connected license...

Where did you purchase the Pro licence from, was that from Microsoft or a 3rd party retailer?

Donwload the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store, then click 'Check Edition' on the left and enter your Pro product key into that app, please provide a screenshot of that window, and please hide your product key in the screenshot.

There is a known issue with the upgrade process, on the activation page in the Settings app, is it now indicated that the Pro or Enterprise edition of Windows is installed?
