Hey I am getting this update error for many weeks now and I am thinking of Reinstalling Windows. If I reinstall it through that button, "Reinstall Now" on the yellow box, will it reset all my settings that I have put on windows or just reinstall all the files?

If you use the new option in System - Recovery - Fix problems using Windows Updates, then that option does not affect your files, settings or installed software, that option only affects Windows system files.
