Using unactivated windows

Hello,

Is it possible to use the media creation tool with an inactivated LTSC copy of Windows 10?

I’ve bought a cheap laptop that runs LTSC but isn’t activated.

I have no reason to want LTSC aside from the lack of bloatware.

I’ve no way of creating a bootable usb other than this laptop.

I’ve got a key for Windows 10 Pro but am aware that there is no in system way of up/downgrading from LTSC.

Any help is appreciated.

You should be able to use the Media Creation tool Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com) and uncheck the option for recommended settings when you use the tool.

It's probably the best idea to clean install anyway. Use the Pro product key during installation to be sure Pro is install. (Home is the default)
