Dear TIMMY 69
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.
If Microsoft Edge can't remember the maximized settings and right-clicking to open a new tab doesn't work, there are several solutions you can try:
- Reset Edge Settings
Open Microsoft Edge.
Click on the three dots (menu) in the upper right corner and select Settings. -Select “Settings”.
Select “Reset Settings” from the menu on the left.
Click “Restore settings to defaults” and confirm.
- Check for Edge updates
Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Edge:
In Edge, click the three dots in the top right corner and select Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge.
Check for available updates and update.
- Create a new user profile
If the problem persists, you can try creating a new user profile:
In Edge, click on the profile icon in the upper right corner and select “Add Profile”.
Create a new profile and see if the problem persists. o In Edge, click on the profile icon in the top right corner and select “Add Profile”.
- Check for extensions
Sometimes, certain extensions may interfere with the normal functioning of Edge:
In Edge, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select “Extensions”.
Disable all extensions and then enable them one by one to find out which ones may be causing the problem.
- Install the Edge Beta version
You can install the standalone Edge Beta. Test if the problem still exists. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/download/insider
