Open Microsoft Security or your Anti-Malware product and update it and run a full scan.

Right click on taskbar and then select Task Manager and select to show more details and look into Startup tab and see if there is any suspicious application?

Right click the start button and select Windows Powershell (Admin)

Copy and paste in the following command -> press enter:

    Unregister-ScheduledTask -TaskName 'Window Update' -Confirm:$false

If the above throws an error, let me know.

    Delete the folder: %localappdata%\Updates

Check whether Windows Defender is still functional.

    Let me know the result.
