So i have had this pc for more then a year its obviously not the best computer out there but it works good enough (not now), so the issue is i use my cpu for display sine i only have a monitor that has a vga port and so does the cpu spot. I was using the computer perfecty fine with no issues then all of the sudden boom im getting issues were it frezez on the windows oading screen after the bios screen disappers then just freezes, if i take out the gpu it loads fine but with it in it dosent. I took it over to my freinds house and he put the gpu in his rig and the gpu runs fine with 0 issues and we put it back in mine and boom it was fine but i was using his monitor with a DisplayPort. So basically from what i have gathered the gpu wont work the the computer unless i use it for display. What is really confusing is it worked before with zero issues and still does if i use it and not the cpu, like i said before i have never had this issue before and i dont have a monitor with dp or hdmi (i know i could get one but just havent had time, its also been working with 0 issues, i have played houndreds of hours of apex, modded minecraft and cod 3) So im really lost and don't know what to do im going to try some other things but im just very confused. The specs are here:

    Hi, James0221!

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

I am very willing to assist you.

I understand that your current situation is that after installing your GPU, the screen freezes when using VGA to output the video signal.

In this case, have you just encountered this situation recently? Have you recently updated your graphics card driver or installed any Windows updates or other software?

According to what you had tested, we confirm that your CPU and GPU are intact. It may be a driver conflict or a compatibility issue with your monitor output protocol.

Now you can use it normally when you use the DP cable to connect to your monitor after installing your GPU, but it freezes after VGA to Windows logo loading.

If you try using DP to VGA output signal when installing your GPU, I think this is also an alternative worth considering.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

    Best Regards,
