Why is wallet dysfunctional?

Wallet retains obsolete information and provides no way to delete it. What good is this? Microsoft needs to fix it and make it usable, and also make it optional. Another bad product I never asked for and don't want.

    Hello, Kyr Arnsugr.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are currently having some trouble with the wallet feature. It retains some outdated information, and you can't delete it.

Based on these circumstances, please allow me to learn more from you:

Are you referring to the wallet feature in Microsoft Edge or a wallet-related application? Regarding outdated information, do you specifically mean things like passwords or payment methods? Is there an error message when it cannot be deleted?

If you are referring to the information in your personal wallet in Microsoft Edge settings, we have tested that it is easy to remove the content. You can try logging out of your current account in Edge and logging back in to see if it can be deleted.

Anyway, I'd like to check with you for more information about your specific situation. I will endeavor to try and help you avoid this problem.

I look forward to your reply.

    Best Regards.
