Dear team,

Our own develop apps have been incorrectly detected as malware and we have reported into Microsoft but still unable to solve this issue.

After upload the file for defender screening still detected as malware but didn't have any details on which part of the apps it cause triggered malware, how can we remove the malware detection?

Is there any agent from Microsoft can assist us on this ?

    Hello, Angus11

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Processing submissions requires dedicated analyst resources. Since Microsoft receives a high volume of submissions, we prioritize them based on several factors:

    • Files that are widespread and could affect many computers are given top priority.
    • Authenticated customers, especially enterprise customers with valid Software Assurance IDs (SAIDs), are prioritized.
    • Submissions marked as high priority by SAID holders receive immediate attention.

Your submission is scanned by our systems right away to provide the latest determination, even before an analyst reviews it. Note that the same file might have already been processed by an analyst. To check for updates, select “rescan” on the submission details page.

If you haven’t received a response or resolution, consider following up on your initial report. Sometimes, additional details or a reminder can help speed up the process. If you have a case number or reference number from your initial report, use it when following up.

Microsoft encourages all software vendors and developers to read about how Microsoft identifies malware and unwanted software.
