Screen Saver not working

Screen saver worked for multiple years with Windows 10.

But ever since I invoked it with Windows 11 the selected display after 15 minutes (Bubbles or Blank) never kicks in.

I used these instructions.

Select the Start button, then go to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen, and select Screen saver settings. In the Screen Saver Settings window, choose a screen saver from the drop-down list.

    Ah ha!!

    Found it.

    In Windows 11

"The only ones you can configure are the 3D text and Photos options. In the 3D text settings, you can create a custom message, control the visual style, speed, motion, surface style, and more. And in the Photos option, you can choose the folder with the collection of pictures you want to show on the screen, and there is an option to control the speed and rotation."

Hello sdmike1974, I'm Quinn, and I'm happy to help you.

The most likely culprit for your screen saver issue is a conflict with the power settings. Try adjusting these settings first:

    1. Go to Settings > System > Power & sleep.
    2. Set "Screen" and "Sleep" to a longer duration than your screen saver time. For example, if your screen saver is set to 15 minutes, set "Screen" and "Sleep" to 20 minutes or more.

If that doesn't work, try to Disable Dynamic Lock (if enabled):

    1. Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
    2. Turn off Dynamic Lock.

See if this fixes the issue, if the problem continues, please don't hesitate to ask for further assistance. I'm here to help in any way I can.
