So i was installing some apps frlm the microsoft store and my laptop started glitching on and off out of nowhere. And i triend the hold for a little while and then click on the power button thing and it didn't work. It was open yet the screen was blank and then i shut it down somehow and then opened it again but the problem was still there so i followed this procedure from google that i saw abd i booted my system i think.. i dis the simple boot one and while it was doing that it showed something like something didn't go as planned but they are fixing that and eventually my laptop opened but the wallaper was black, i am not able to see any icons on the lower right corner i.e., the wifi, the calender, anything at all and so i started to search and do some findings and fixings but still it is there and my laptop is sort of hanging in a way like when i click at the start icon and tupe.. the typing is not shown however when i hit enter what i had typed does show up, for example i typed setting but what i am typing is not shown on top but when i hit enter the srtyings page pops up so yeah thats the problem and i did try to change my wallpaper too but it did not wven though i clicked on it.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Can you use these steps to perform a system restore to a time prior to those problems happening?

Start your PC, just as Windows attempts to load (spinning dots), press and hold Power Button for 5 - 10 seconds to perform a Hard Shut Down

    Do this twice

On the third start Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment and from there you can access System Repair, Safe Mode, Command Prompt... etc.

Go to Troubleshoot - Advanced Option - System Restore

Check to see if you have a restore point you can go back to
