I understand your frustration and concern. If Microsoft's safety tool detected a corrupted file intermittently, it might be worth running additional scans, such as Windows Security or the free Malwarebytes. Regarding suggestions for Windows 11 virus protection, I'm sorry, I do not have a direct contact with Microsoft. I recommend sending feedback to Microsoft using the Feedback Hub app. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sen...

    Thank you.

The authorities can't do anything because he is using a email that is untraceable and using a btc wallet that is also untraceable so I got no other options and yes I did reseted everything on the pc end when I used the microsoft safety tool first it said I have 1 corrupted file and when I did it second time it didn't show any corrupted file but the 3 time it says 1 corrupted file so am a bit scared and I just bought my gaming pc this January and it's sad that it got hacked just 3 moths after I feel like microsoft need to fix their virus protection or make a protection by websites it blocks all access to virus but the windows 11 virus protection is not that good you guys need to do something about it not to be rude but it's true

When you reset your computer, did you choose the 'Delete everything' option? If yes, this will likely remove everything, including any viruses on your computer. If you ran a scan and it says your system is clean, then you should be good now. If possible, report this incident to your local authorities as well. Thank you.

I replied to the email but after I did that I tracked the email down and its a fake email address that he is using and how do I make sure that the virus is deleted because he sent a screenshot of my screen when I was playing gta 5 and he told me to pay him $900 to get the virus deleted but am not sure if the virus is deleted because am still scared if the hacker can still see my screen and he gave me 48 hour to make a deposit if not am done and he said that he got all my data and followed my tracks since 26.04.24

Hi Sohail_514. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'd be more than happy to assist you. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing this issue. Don't worry, I'll do everything I can to help you.

Please do not reply to the email or follow any instructions given by the hacker. You have already taken the necessary steps to protect yourself. Resetting your PC, using antivirus software, and changing your passwords are good measures. Additionally, enable two-factor authentication for added security and ensure your computer is always up to date. Also, observe any unusual activity on your computer.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please let me know. Thank you.
