Blue Screen: Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

Hi

I'm on a Windows 10 PC. Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4529)

Starting last week, when I try to print, I've been getting blue screens with the following message:

Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

What failed: win32kbase.sys

I've looked at the www.windows.com/stopcode, but it looks like I need to have someone look at my minidump files.

Your minidump files do not indicate any problem with your Windows instalaltion or drivers, they all just list Adobe Acrobat as the cause of the crashes.

The best option would be to completely uninstall Adobe Acrobat, restart (not shut down) your PC, then donwload and re-install the latest version of Acrobat to see if that resolves the crashes.

    Thanks Dave.

    Here's the zip. https://www.dropbox.com/t/8gHafALSVmAPalmf

I think it might be related to PDF printing. Some files keep triggering the blue screen while others seem totally fine. I tried reinstalling Acrobat, but I'm still getting the same issue.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Please upload any minidump files you have, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
