How to disable middle button auto scroll "feature" on Windows 11?

I frequently use the middle button to open links in a new tab but, sometimes, I miss click, the mouse cursor changes to a circle with arrows , and the page quickly scrolls. Is there a way to disable the middle mouse button click scrolling function?

I have tried Windows mouse settings, both the new settings and the old ones "Additional mouse settings", I have also tried with my mouse's software settings: Logitech G HUB for my G502 and Logi Options + for my Mx Masters 3S, none of them has the options as it seems to be something native on Windows.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That middle mouse click option to auto-scroll is a part of the default settings in Windows, really the only way to disable that function would be to use a 3rd party utility like the free 'X-Mouse Button Control' utility to set your preferred action for the middle click action.
