Could you please help me find a reason why is my PC randomly rebooting? Running win 11 and last month started PC rebooting on random occasions . Sometimes after 8h rest will reboot itself 3 times in 15 minutes. Sometimes it lasts few hours. I did check temperatures, applied new thermal paste on CPU, run extended mem test and also checked SSD for errors.

Thanks for the clarification.

No other driver is mentioned by the Driver Verifier. But I will leave a preventive procedure.

  • Download the latest chipset driver from the link below and install it.

https://download.msi.com/dvr_exe/mb/amd_chipset...

(Extract the ZIP file, run the file "AMD_Chipset_Software", and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

  • I noticed that the motherboard BIOS is outdated. I suggest you update it by following MSI's instructions.

Then, see if the system will work stable.

If the problem occurs again after uninstalling it, let me know. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

    After activating driver verifier by instructions, i couldn’t get windows started. Comes for a secind with blue screen then offers a repair using restore point. I have tried to repair without restore but unsucessfuly. Now repairing with restore point. What to do now? Windows is loaded now. Checking with verifier /querysetting. comes this time without list if drivers but with list of “flags”.

    Sorry for the delay in reply. I've been offline.

    I found that errors are occurring when creating the dump files. This is probably due to the type of crash that is happening.

    I suggest you use the Driver Verifier utility. This utility is used to force the system to show the driver causing the problem.

    Before turning on Driver Verifier, I like to create a restore point just in case. I suggest doing the same.

    https://support.microsoft.com/windows/create-a-...

    Turn on Driver Verifier, let the system crash 3 times, then turn off Driver Verifier. Share the minidumps that the crashes created.

    (Pay attention if a blue screen is displayed. Sometimes, it may contain useful information.)

    See the article below for instructions.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please do the following:

    Export and share the log for analysis:

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Event Viewer";
    2. Expand "Windows Logs" and select "System";
    3. In the "Actions" panel on the right, select "Filter Current Log";
    4. In "Event level", check the boxes "Critical", "Warning", and "Error" and click on "Ok";
    5. Again, in the "Actions" panel, select "Save Filtered Log File As" and save in an easily accessible place.

    Then, upload the file to the cloud (OneDrive), choose to share it, and get the link.

    Post the link to the file here so I can have a look.

    I await your reply. Click on the "Reply" button below my reply.
