Suddenly my Hotmail account ask to verify my account due to security alert i have no problem but when I fill the last digit numbers of my MOBILE phone …I wait the verification code on SMS but never arrived ......knowing that i tried several month ago and it worked

What happens when you add a different verification method on your security settings page? Are you still asked for the verification code on your Phone number?
If you are still having trouble receiving the verification code on your Phone number, your account might probably be locked. Try filling in the account recovery form using the link below.

Once your account is verified, you will receive the password reset link in your alternate email. Reset your password using the link and hopefully, you will be able to receive the verification code afterwards.

2. Do you have any other possibilities for proving your identity? (Using e-mail address or using Microsoft Authenticator) I have a skype account but as well its linked to the same problem asking for a verification code
3. Did you select "I did not receive a code?" Option on the screen to resend the code again? Yes i did resend again and again but no codes were sent ...except if i say i forgot my password and then i changed the passwords successfully but again it ask more security verification codethank you

Microsoft will send you a code to the security verification methods that you selected when creating the account in order to access the security data on your Microsoft account. This is to make sure you (the owner) are attempting to access the account. Requiring an OTP ensures that only authorized users can access their accounts.
Even if someone knows your password, they won’t be able to log in without the OTP.
The code will be sent to the email address or Phone number you supplied as a security verification method.
- Does your phone block text from unknown numbers?

- Did you select "I did not receive a code?" Option on the screen to resend the code again?
There are a number of possible explanations for why verification codes don't always arrive.

If you are having trouble receiving the verification code on your phone number, I recommend you to add a backup e-mail address to your Microsoft account and verify your account using the new method.
