Need help, I've been getting crashes while gaming and then I would need to hard restart my pc. I've been checking Event Viewer for potential causes and one error crop up consistently:

The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{F87B28F1-DA9A-4F35-8EC0-800EFCF26B83}
and APPID
{0868DC9B-D9A2-4F64-9362-133CEA201299}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

I've tried a fresh install of windows in hopes of fixing the problem but it seems to not want to go away, I have also tried to reset windows but no help so far.

    Completely remove the current graphics card device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the graphics card device driver.

    A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.

    If that does not solve the problem, because oyu have re-installed Windows and the problem continued, the best option is to download the widely available free utility MemTest86, then run a full 4 pass scan with that to test your RAM for physical errors

    My pc just freezes and locks up with a static image of the game that I'm playing,it does not respond to any inputs or keyboard commands such as Ctrl+Alt+Del or Ctrl+Shift+Esc. All that I can do is reboot the system.

    There is nothing in that event to indicate the underlying problem, when you are playing games, what exactly is the symptoms you experience, does the game just shut down, or do oyu get a black screen or a blue screen, or does your system just instantly shut down with no warning or freeze up?

    Hello Dave, there doesn't seem to be a minidump folder on my pc. I have attached the event viewer file though

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

    Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

    Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

    Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
