Can't login

Hi!

I opened my laptop today and all of a sudden, it won't accept my fingerprints/PIN bc there has been changes to the security on my device (not by me!). When I try and login through microsoft, it keeps showing me an old account with an old e-mail I have NO access to anymore. It won't let me change the account, and now the wrong account that it kept showing me is blocked, since I tried to put in the password too many times (I don't have it anymore). A new account probably wouldn't have helped me anyways, since the laptop thinks I still use my old account.... Can anyone help? Or do I have to go to a store for help?

While the Microsoft account login might be showing an old email, look closely at the login screen. Sometimes, there might be a small link or option to log in with a different account (e.g., "Sign in with a local account" or similar wording). If you see such an option, try logging in with your current Microsoft account username and password you use for other Microsoft services.

Booting your laptop into Safe Mode with Networking can sometimes help troubleshoot login issues. This mode loads a minimal set of drivers and programs.
