Hello

In the taskbar part, the anti-malware service available program uses RAM heavily. I want to reduce or stop the use of RAM used by this program.

    Hello, MOHAMAD REZA MIRHASHEMIAN

It looks like there’s not much we can do about it. Give the developers some feedback about this issue so they can improve it in the future.

    Hello, MOHAMAD REZA MIRHASHEMIAN

None of these things helped me because the antimalware service executable still uses a lot of RAM in the taskbar

What are the specs of your device? Like the CPU, RAM, and hard disk?

Also, could you take some screenshots showing how much RAM the service is using in Task Manager?

It is really unlikely from Microsoft, Windows 11 is very awful.

    Hello, MOHAMAD REZA MIRHASHEMIAN

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

You can add the C:\Program Files\Windows Defender folder to the exclusion list in Defender to prevent Windows Defender from scanning its own folders, as MsMpEng.exe's high CPU usage may be attributed to the program scanning its own folder.

How to add an exclusion to Windows Security - Microsoft Support

Another option is to disable real-time protection and reschedule Windows Defender scans through Task Scheduler:

These changes can potentially alleviate the issues related to Windows Defender's resource consumption.
