Good day

My laptop has been stuck on updates for 3 hours now. I did the restart and removed the battery.

I really don’t know anymore.

To enter winRE you can follow the below steps

Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.

Press the power button again to turn on your device.

When Windows starts, hold down the power button for 10 seconds to turn off your device.

Press the power button again to turn on your device.

Allow your device to restart into Automatic Repair, and select Advanced options to enter winRE.

In winRE, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.

After your device restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select option 5 or press F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.

In safe mode, you can update all the drivers and restart the computer to see if it boots normally

If the above steps don't work, you can try the following options one by one in winRE mode:

Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup repair.

Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Uninstall updates.

Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore.

Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Reset the computer.

Have you received any specific message or error code displayed on the screen while the update was stuck?

Press and hold the power button on your laptop for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Then, turn it back on and see if it boots normally.
