If an issue occurs in data factory processing, how long would it take to get an alert out?
I mean if the process fails while transferring data. When would the alert be sent out via email or SMS from the time it fails. Is there a lag between failure and alert sent out?

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

As per the repro, I had noticed there is a approximately four minutes delay between failure and alert sent out.

Here are the observation from the pipeline Run End time and email generated time.

  • Pipeline failure1: May 19, 2021 6:13 UTC & May 19, 2021 6:17 UTC
  • Pipeline failure2: May 19, 2021 6:22 UCT & May 19, 2021 6:26 UTC
