Windows 11 Persistent Update Problems

Hello,

I have been struggling with installing the latest update for windows. I am attaching a screen-shot below for specifics. Can I get some guidance on how to resolve this?

2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 (KB5039895)

Install Error: 0x80248007

Windows 11, version 23H2

Install Error: 0x800700c1

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Install and upgrade

    Please let me know if you have tried the methods below.

    **Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter

    **Make sure Windows Update and Background Intelligent Transfer services are available and running.

    Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: services.msc

    Press Enter to open Services app

    Double-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service.

    If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK. If the status is Running, right click then select Restart

    Double-click Windows Update.

    If the Startup status lists Stopped, click Start and then click OK. If the status is Running, right click then select Restart

    **Please try to run SFC and DISM to check for any system errors and corrupted files.

    After that, restart your computer

    **Here's a direct download link of KB5039895 from Microsoft Update Catalog. Download and install the update manually.

    If the issue still persists, please try performing an In-place Upgrade. It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

    Few things to check on the PC

    **Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting

    **Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade
